Slidell does have it’s share of opossums. There are a good bit of squirrel issues and bat issues but for opossums they seem to be attic dwellers around here.
I have family in Slidell and stop and visit if I have time, sometimes I might fish off the hwy 11 bridge - but usually I am too short on time.
Opossums do poop in the attic and in Slidell I can say I have done some attic clean up due to the poop. Beware of scammers though, and be prepared to pay out of pocket for this as many times your insurance company will fight you on this one!
