How much is the average bat removal?
Several things can and do affect that. For the most part we simply charge for what we do.
Sometimes you need the whole house sealed, and sometimes you need a single one-way door.
A single door might run 385.00, sealing a 2,000 sqft house brick to soffet might run anywhere from 1600- 2500 depending on ladders we might need to setup and safety concerns. We have been doing this for 15 years, and we have plenty of success behind us.
We have done some of the most demanding bat removals in New Orleans and we are proud of the work that we have accomplished.
You can expect to pay at least $165 for our initial inspection!
Unlike other work, bat removal usually involves a lot of ladder work and sometimes along the entire length of the building. This could mean going up the ladder sealing as far as I can reach climbing down - moving the ladder and then climbing back up to do again and again until I have sealed up every crack. This leads to more difficulty if you have landscaping or a very “cut up” roof which means lots of turns and levels to the roof line.
Sometimes I rent man lifts! They are safer than ladders when used right but they do cost more. The higher the building the more likely your going to hear me say I will need to rent a lift to do this job!
