Parker Wildlife Control - Animal Removal Specialists
Serving Northshore communities of Mandeville, Covington, Slidell, and Hammond as well as the New Orleans area we trap and remove nuisance wildlife from residential and commercial properties. We provide trapping services, repairs, and preventative work however, we are not a roofing company. If your roof has major issues allowing rodents and or other wildlife to get into the attic we might recommend a roofer. We warranty all of our work with a standard 5 year warranty on all repairs. We work hard to make sure that what we do lasts.
Bat Removal
To get rid of bats we do whatever it takes! The idea is actually pretty simple. We seal all potential re-entry points and then set up a one-way door so that the bats can get out but NOT back in. Once the bats are gone, we can begin with clean up.
Bat Removal: The cleanup process
Cleaning up after a bat problem can be tricky because it really depends on where the bats were and how the guano can be removed. In the case of a brick wall, you may not be able to get to it without extensive costs. These costs can be too high and that’s when we use the second method of encapsulation meaning seal it off either directly or indirectly. If the guano is actually in the attic proper we can remove the soiled insulation and replace it. If you have bats, I would advise you give us a call so we can discuss your options. To see and or read more about bats in our area visit the section of our website called Bat Removal for more information.
We remove wildlife but not dogs and cats!
If you have a dog or cat problem call the Jefferson Parish Animal Shelter or the Orleans Parish SPCA. On the North Shore, do the same thing – call the local animal shelter!
If you found a sick or injured animal.
Please visit the Louisiana Wildlife Rehabilitators Association website.
We do NOT pick up sick or injured animals and we are not licensed for rehabilitation. Wildlife rehabilitators tend to sick and injured wildlife please do not call for this service.
Check out our awesome Google Reviews! If you look us up online, you’ll find these – we didn’t write them ourselves like some other folks do, lol. If we did a good job for you, please feel free to write us a great review! We work hard to try to take care of every customer, if we failed you in any way please let us know so we can take corrective action as soon as possible!

May 5, 2017I had 5 squirrels scurrying around in my attic. Mr. Parker promptly answered my call for help and engineered a trap to capture them. Mr. Parker was very polite and professional and kept checking in during the days that it took to capture them. Mr. Parker was able to successfully remove the squirrels humanely and also patched up the hole that the squirrels had chewed through my roof. I definitely recommend his services as he was very professional and the pricing was very reasonable for the amount of work that he had to do. I will be calling him again for any future wildlife removals that I need.

January 26, 2020After assessing the situation in our attic, Mr. Parker sealed entry points into the attic with heavy duty screen (large louvers on ends of house, end caps of ridge vents, around an old power vent, and the chimney). After identifying some footprints, he set out live traps and two squirrels were removed from the house. He then set out snap traps in the attic and two rats were removed. We were very pleased with the service he provided. Would certainly use him again.
