Covington - Mandeville - New Orleans - Slidell - Bat Removal and Wildlife Control Services!
Parker Wildlife Control is a local business in New Orleans, LA (Kenner to be exact) that specializes in removing animals from residential and commercial property.
I moved to New Orleans in 1989. I wasn’t born here but I got here as soon as I could. I started off in the business of cabinet-making and soon got into computers doing AutoCAD drafting. I then went into the specialty field of doors and windows. It was during this time in my life I met a bee-keeper who was also a bee removal expert. He taught me how to remove bees. As I was doing bee removals many people asked me if I knew how to get rid of squirrels and bats and so on, so I decided it might be a good idea to look into how to do that.
When I was first getting into cabinet making, I learned all I could. I have taken the same approach to wildlife control too. I wanted to learn and I was told about this organization called NWCOA. NWCOA is a non-profit organization dedicated to the wildlife control operator.
I joined NWCOA after attending my first seminar. I was hooked. It didn’t take long and soon I had so many calls I decided to go out on my own and start my own business. The guy I worked for, Glenn was an inspiration and as he taught me how to remove bees, I learned the service business.
Looking back, it was really important to have learned how houses are built and how to repair them because in this business, doing repair work is a must.
This allowed me to not only capture the animal but to figure out how they got in, and how to keep them out for good! Little did I know I was actually preparing for this job from day one!
Now, not only do I do wildlife removal. I also created a software to run my own business. I couldn’t find anything out there that really fit my needs so I built it.
Again, my past was all part of my future! All of the experience I had in computers, from 3D Studio Max - AutoCAD - Xbasic - Web Design, etc. now all helps me create my website and my software (NWCOPRO) as well as help my friends.
Now, I am able to teach others through NWCOA what I have learned as this all comes full circle.
If your interested or have any questions, give me a call and I will be happy to help you!
